The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in locating Benjamin Peter Ashley. Ashley is a person of interest in an ongoing investigation into a kidnapping which occurred on July 28, a murder which occurred on July 30, and an attempted murder of a peace officer which occurred on August 1.
