RE:      Recent MONET activity in the Town of Mammoth Lakes

The Mono County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MONET), along with the assistance of Mono County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Mammoth Lakes Fire Department, concluded a warrant investigation in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.

On Friday, July 11, 2014, Scott Mack, age 53, of Mammoth Lakes, was arrested for sales and possession for sale, cultivation and production of concentrated cannabis. Mr. Mack was operating a marijuana lab in his place of residence where 127 marijuana plants and several pounds of processed marijuana was recovered and seized. Mr. Mack was taken into custody by Mono County Sheriff’s Deputies and transported to the Mono County Jail in Bridgeport without incident. All charges are pending with the Mono County District Attorney’s Office.
