The Mono County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MONET), with the assistance of the Mono County Sheriff’s Office, concluded a narcotics warrant investigation in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
Within the past week, as part of a narcotics investigation, MONET agents, and the Mono County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Mammoth Lakes. During a physical search of the residence, MONET agents and Mono County Sheriff’s Deputies subsequently discovered and recovered: eighty five (85) ecstasy pills; five (5) pounds of marijuana; packaging materials and storage containers; written instructions on how to manufacture hash/wax; butane canisters and glass tubing used to manufacture hash/wax; and a couple thousand dollars in narcotics proceeds. This led to the arrest of one resident. He was transported and booked in the Mono County Jail in Bridgeport without incident.
Eric Vandenhenden, age 21, of Mammoth Lakes, CA, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance for sale; manufacturing a controlled substance; possession of marijuana; possession of marijuana for sale; and maintaining a residence to house and distribute narcotics.
