TELECONFERENCE INFORMATION:

This meeting will be held via teleconferencing with members of the Board attending from separate remote locations. As authorized by AB 361, dated September 16, 2021, a local agency may use teleconferencing without complying with the teleconferencing requirements imposed by the Ralph M. Brown Act when a legislative body of a local agency holds a meeting during a declared state of emergency and local officials have recommended or imposed measures to promote social distancing or the body cannot meet safely in person and the legislative body has made such findings.

Based on guidance from the California Department of Public Health and the California Governor’s Officer, in order to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, please note the following:

 

1. There is no physical location of the meeting open to the public. You are strongly encouraged to observe the live stream of the Treasury Oversight Committee meetings via https://monocounty.zoom.us/j/82443425130 or Call in at 1-669-900-6833 or 1-346-248-7799 Meeting ID: 824 4342 5130

 

2. If you wish to make a comment on a specific agenda item before the meeting, please submit your comment via email by 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to the meeting. Please submit your comment to treasurer@mono.ca.gov. Every effort will be made to read your comment into the record, but comments longer than 250 words may not be read due to time limitations. All comments will be made a part of the record. Please make sure to submit a separate email for each item that you wish to comment upon.

 

3. If you are watching the live stream of the meeting and wish to make either a general public comment or to comment on a specific agenda item as it is being heard, please use the Zoom Chat or submit your comment, limited to 250 words or less, to treasurer@mono.ca.gov. Every effort will be made to read your comment. All comments will be made a part of the record. Please make sure to submit a separate email for each item that you wish to comment upon.

 

Pursuant to Government Code § 27130-27137, The Mono County Board of Supervisors passed a Resolution establishing The County Treasury Oversight Committee.  The function of The Committee is to “promote the public interest by involving depositors in the management of their funds and by enhancing the security and investment return on their funds by providing a more stable and predictable balance for investment by establishing criteria for the withdrawal of funds”.
