Round Fire Update (5:00pm on 2/7)

Here is the official update from CAL FIRE on the Round Fire:

Date started: 2/6 at 2:07pm
Acres burned: 7,000
Containment: 50%

Evacuations: Paradise and Swall Meadows are still under mandatory evacuations.

Shelter: Crowley Lake Community Center

Road Closures: Lower Rock Creek at Tom's Place and the Gorge Road on north side of Hwy 395

Cause: Under Investigation
Total Fire Personnel: 200
Total Fire Engines: 47
Total Fire Crews: 29

Conditions: Significant rain stopped the forward rate of the fire. Re-entry for residents is still unsafe.
