Reporting a Communicable Disease to Mono County Health Department

The goal of the Communicable Disease Program is to monitor communicable diseases, decrease those diseases and report as required to the California Department of Public Health (Title 17).  Communicable diseases include, but are not limited to: tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, Hantavirus, hepatitis, foodborne diseases, childhood infections (such as measles, polio, chickenpox, mumps).

If you would like to report a communicable disease to Mono County Health Department over the phone, please call our Communicable Disease Unit at 760-965-9897. This number is monitored on the weekend and holidays.
