Recently, the Mono County Sheriff's Office, Inyo County Sheriff's Office, and the Bishop Police Department participated in their first training day with the element members of the Mono-Inyo Special Enforcement Detail (SED).
The first training consisted of self defense and team movement exercises; advanced life support by element members that are tactical medics; and the rescue of wounded citizens and element members under fire from criminal sources. The SED Unit is designed to fill a need for advanced tactical capability for the participating agencies. - Jennifer M. Hansen, Public Information Officer
