Workforce Investment Act Resources
The Mono County Career Services Center (CSC) is the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program agency serving the needs of Mono County employers. In the wake of persistently high levels of unemployment, the mission of the CSC is to serve as a resource for labor-market exchange and workforce development. The CSC provides essential, cost effective services designed to help employers get the workers they need and empower job seekers to meet the challenges of the new century by getting the training they need for the jobs they want. In addition to bridging the gap between job opportunities and the pool of workers who are qualified to fill them, the CSC connects employers with valuable hiring incentives. All the services provided by the CSC are free of charge.
